I am karumina, based in Madrid, Spain, and I
dedicate myself to illustration professionally since 2012 and, vocationally, since I was about five years or so, when my father brought us some English Advent Calendars with Victorian houses full of windows and where I found a special magic.
Soon I began to draw everything I liked, especially characters from other historical times and everything I could think of. In those days I didn't like to color, I just drew and pencils.

Time passed and I dedicated myself to nothing
magical work until I returned to The Dream Of My Childhood: Illustrating Children's
Stories For Children.
It all started with a Photoshop course and a door
opened.
In 2012 I designed my first “cubisan” character
based on the geometry, color and sweetness of a world that I called “Cubisan
World” (designed with Adobe programs) especially dedicated to the children's
world.
So were born characters and characters from classic children's stories, historical, archaeological characters, versions of great masterpieces of painting ... and always with the idea of bringing them closer to the little childrens.

At the same time, my hand, a pencil and papers were dedicated to drawing sketches, drawings of memories, fairy tales, friendly animals and many things that I never dreamed of drawing before.
It was also time to enter the
Social Networks, interviews, send my portfolio to all parts of the world and make myself known. They came the first orders.
I am always open to new personal projects or collaborations.
